Hi I'm not sure what's going on but she started doing this, this afternnon. She seems to be leaning to her left when she's laying down. She is about 16 weeks old. No change in diet. She's eating, drinking, walking around normal just continually making this noise it is almost consistent with her breathing... if anybody has any suggestions or has any idea what this could be please let me know. Also the other chicken are staying with her not trying to peck at her... here's a video so you can kind of see what she is doing...

Looks to me like maybe shes getting ready to lay her first egg. It takes a bit of time. My naked neck just laid it took her 2 hours or walking around and finally settling in the coop.

That's what somebody else said but she is only 16 weeks... isn't that too young? I'm worried she is by far our smallest chicken.

She's up on her perch and I just went to check on her ... now she has some clear liquid dripping out of her nose and she's banging her head into the coop...

Check her vent to see if she is egg bound.

Morning might be too late. If you feel her tummy around her vent and it feels hard she might be egg bound. You need to set her in a couple of inches of warm water in the sink with a towel under her so she won't slip around. get her to relax and the egg might pass out. I'm not sure about liquid coming out her mouth though, I'm not that experienced. Good luck.
