    Hello to all you sheep owners out there!
    This thread is created for people who have questions or comments or, well anything to say about sheep! I currently own dariy sheep and I am soon going to get some Shetlands. If you want to join please let me know and I will add you on to the list of members. Anyone who is wondering about anything "sheepish" any questions I will be happy to answer for you. From diseases to lambing, feel free to ask anything. If I can't answer your question for you then I will send you to someone who can or to a thread about thing your'e wondering. Hope this helps!

    Perhaps on your Poll, you should add "hair" sheep since a lot of us raise the hair breeds.
    What breed of dairy sheep do you have?
    I've read that sheep milk is the 'best' milk as far as nutritional content.
    Goat milk comes second and, of course, cow's milk is last.

    Aw... I wish I could add hair but it won't let me change the poll! I have an East Friesian/ Lacaune cross. Wow that's interesting to know that sheep's milk is the 'best'.

    Also, my 5 year old ewe just lambed last night! [​IMG] She has a beautiful ram. [​IMG] And my yearling is due either tonight or tomorrow! [​IMG]

    My yearling ewe lambed last night!!! She had a lovely black ewe with a white hock. Isn't she cute!! [​IMG]

    Just wanted to share that another of my ewes just lambed 20 minutes ago. She's 7 years old, so we were really worried about her delivery. But, everything went great, and we ended up with two gorgeous baby girls!!
