In the "Other Animals" section of our local shelter's website, there is this photo posted under some rats and rabbits.

    The description reads:
"I am a spayed female, black and tan Ferret.
The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Aug 08, 2011.
This information is 1 hour old.".

...That's gotta be a simple entry error, right? Right? XD

Probably someone mixed up two pictures.

Either that or someone has been working AWFUL hard to develop a ferret that looks exactly like a black and tan, min-pin or similar cross.

Or they have spent too much time on virtual pet sites:

But, what gets me is that they listed the color as "black and tan", as even a wild-type ferret (technically black and tan-ish) is referred to as 'sable' on their website. Seems they would have had to punch that in. XD

I could see someone with bad eyes look for a black and brown animal. See that and say ferret.

I hope they get that fixed, could lower the chances of that dog getting adopted. That is rather funny though. [IMG]
