Shes a hen right?

    Im almost 100% sure shes a hen lol. But she doesnt lay and my other hen her age does. Hubby said he thinks he heard her cro [sp?] and we are new to this. But the marks on her back, where shes missing hair, isnt that cause the male is breeding her?

    Your male down below looks like a black Minorca cock.

    The balding spot where she's missing feathers is where the male has been overbreeding her.

    I thought it was a hen to. Just wasnt 100% because she doesnt lay.

    See the rounded feathers at the base of her tail and neck? Those indicate girlie girl. If they were longer and pointed, that would indicate male.
