    Wow, signs of spring. Just placed my first chick order of the season. It was a rough winter, my flock was doing beautifully, then a loose door let a predator in one night and My flock was decimated! 11 hens and roos lost! It's amazing because they were handling the winter so well! My group is down to 4 standard hens, 1 silkie hen and 2 roos.....so time to get chickies! Anyone else waiting for orders? So excited to have fuzzy butts in the house again!

    isn't that great, what breeds are you getting. Mine are coming on 2/23 from Cackle Hatchery:clap:ya

    I'm getting my first standard cochins, new hampshire red, easter eggers and seabrights. [​IMG]

    What are you getting? Isn't it so exciting!

    I love my light brahmas! I actually only have one now, a predator took the other, but they are the nicest most beautiful birds!
