shipping babies

hey guys,
i was wondering how do you ship baby chicks, do i need a permit, what type of a box, any het pads ect..

The USPS can answer some of your questions, I'm certain there are others here who can help.

With chicks you need to be certain there are sufficient for heat and they do better as day olds as they are still absorbing yolk and don't need food and water. After the first three days they should be sent NEXT DAY AIR for livability.
