    Hi all,

I am still looking for my new hens. I may have found someone who has what I am looking for but unfortunatly they are about a 5 hour drive from me... one way. [IMG]

The person who has them has never shipped chickens before.

Does anyone know what the best way to get them to me would be?? Are there services that ship Chickens (adults hens?). Anyone know how expensive it would be??

    Thanks for any help! [IMG]

A good way to find out about shipping would be for the sender to contact the USPS and find out what their requirements are. However, as close as y'all are I would think y'all could meet half way. It would cost some in gas but that should be way less than the price of shipping and would be so much easier on the birds.

I would have to agree with Becky....meet half way...its a little costly on gas...but less trauma for the hens, and I would think a WHOLE lot cheaper!
