Shipping hatching eggs across the country

    I was wanting to start selling hatching eggs and was wondering if I need any kind of license to ship them out of Texas. I know you don't have to have one to ship inside of Texas when you are selling of eBay. Thanks for your time!

    No license. However your flock needs to be certified NPIP to ship across state lines. It's not that big of a deal.
    Beyond that, some states also require other tests for importation like AI clean.
    Every state is different . The state of origin certifies the flock annually.
    Many people don't do it but at the very least a form 9-3 needs to accompany any shipment of birds or eggs.
