Just wondering if any of you guys/gals on here that sell eggs/birds ever ship small numbers of chicks- like 10-20. Is it possible to ship that few or even less? If so, how much does shipping usually run?

Shipping Live Quail Chicks Is Much Bad Juju.... Due To The Natural Design Of Baby Gamebrds They Dont Do Well For Long Without Food Water And Warmth. Having Said This You Will Find Large Scale Hatcheries That Ship But Usually Not Less Than 50-100 So There's Enough In The Chick Box To Help Keep Them Warm During Transit... The Results Often Leave Alot To Be Desired

Dang, is it that bad? lol I've had great success with both baby chickens and juvenile pigeons. Just kinda figured it would be the same with quail.

JJ didnt even touch on the shipping price. Shipping alone will be many times what ever the birds cost...

If done right, it can be very successful. Throwin' it out there. [IMG]

(And no, I wouldn't send less than 50.)
