Shoot. I just realized that I may have ruined my eggs.

When I gave fertile eggs to my broody I didn't let them warm to room temp first. They were refrigerated when I bought them (high-temp fridge at the breeder's house-- 50 degrees) Then they were in my car and house for an hour or two, but they still felt cool when I gave them to my hen. I didn't realize that was a problem until I just read NOT to do that! [IMG] Did I kill any chance of them hatching? We're on day 8 now, and I haven't candled or anything because I'd be so green at it that I doubt it would help me much.

On day 8, you will definitely see veining. So, I would go ahead and candle them.
