When I was in the hospital last month, there was a breach in my fence and a few hens found it and got out...where the grass is greener---oh heck, there's grass there and none left in their run that upon my return I was able to get a few good men to come install sturdier fence.

We went to a birthday party for my dd's friend yesterday where we saw the dad's that helped and one says to me...I'm surprised more chickens didn't get out and they stayed in the run....and I shrugged my shoulders and said, "eh...they're stupid."

ha ha ha. I was surprised more didn't go out, the bottom of that fence was wide open. They just kept pacing back and forth yappin at the loose ones who were happily scratchin and wanderin around on the other side of the fence. ha ha.
