My female cat, Mira, is soooo chatty/whiney. I just went to get a glass of milk in the kitchen and heard her outside.

I was last outside when I locked up the chooks! That's 4 hours outside in temps in the 30s for an indoor cat. This is the same cat who loooooves to run in front of you and whine loudly that you may kick or step on her.

She also thinks that if she inches up on my milk slowly that I won't notice.

Wow, I bet she is glad to get back into the nice warm house!

Maybe it will teach her a lesson. My cat escaped one fine evening. I didnt go looking for her and it poured and was cold out. I got up in the morning to let the dogs out and there she was sitting on the porch. Looking like a drowned rat. She ran in the house so fast and hasnt tried to get out since.

She's safe in the back yard, but just very uncomfortable! Now's she's clinging to me as if I'm about to throw her off a 10-story building.

Advantage: keeps me warm
Disadvantage: Makes typing hard

Wish I could easily post a picture of her perched on my arm.

My other cat, the one in my avatar, has a built-in alarm clock that goes off at 10p: that's when he starts in on me that I'm not in bed yet.

Speaking of which... going to go hit the hay.
