Should I buy these silkie babies??

I bought all 5 of the younger ones. Im not sure how old they are though..the guy said he had written down the day they hatched but i forgot to get the date and i called but he never answered so any thoughts on how old they are?

They look pretty young, mine are about a month old now, they have so many feathers on their legs you can't see their feet. Yours are still short so i'd say under a month maybe two weeks??

You should keep the silkies in a separate coop since they tend to get picked on by other chickens. They are very very friendly chickens. I have mine separated as well as the buff orpington lol

yeah i thought about 2 weeks also cause they only have feathers on their wings. No i havent named them yet cause they all look alike

Well you can do names that rhyme or something in french :

Un deux trois quatre cinq (1-5 in french)

Rose lilas marguerite pensée dim. ( Rose lilac daisy pansy and sun in french)

thats a cute idea...Id feel guilty though cause i didnt name my other chickens but maybe names like..snow and cotton etc since they are all white

Haha yea its hard to keep track of names. Some of mine look alike so when I see one i come come up with a name like momma or chikitta lol
