So I received a very unexpected chicken(a leghorn) tonight she is in the broody box I had set- up for the chicks im getting in February I added a nest box and roost(don't worry moving her to temporary coop outside tomorrow) she didn't have a long ride to my house but didn't enjoy it that's for sure I held her to calm her down a little she seems to be settled down ok and fairly calm now she ate some food she was laying at her previous home should I expect eggs tomorrow or do you think the trip and move might throw off her egg production for a day or two or three

I would expect one tomorrow (unless you got her in the morning) and then you wont get another egg for about a week.
But there are always eggceptions[IMG] and being a Leghorn she may just keep laying (top layers they are).
