According to morning bird bird care product website, the use of probiotics may be degraded in the presence of cocci-care(contains amprolium and ethopabate for coccidiosis). The medicated starter feed that was bought today, contains amprolium(no ethopabate) to help chicks combat coccidiosis protozoa. I am planning to give my chickens probiotics soon. Should I give them probiotics, when I am feeding them medicated starter feed at the same day? It is a bad idea to feed them medicated feed and tap water for several weeks starting at, at least 24 hours after they drink probiotics?
