Should I get an aseel, madagascar game, malay, or a shamo?

    I want to get one of them for a breeding project im working on (I'm going to cross a brahma with a phoenix and then cross the resulting birds to the breed you guys decide on)
    The goal is to get a bird that is much larger than the phoenix (but still has the beautiful feathers of a phoenix) and is slightly more hardy than a phoenix.

    Aseels can be aggressive with other birds, even the hens. Something to be aware of.

    They are fierce mothers. A friend of ours lost one of his Aseels when she refused to back down to a raccoon threatening her nest.
