I AM NEW TO RAISING QUAIL AND CHOSE CORTURNIX BECAUSE OF THE SIZE AND EASE OF RAISING THEM. THEY LAY BEAUTIFUL EGGS EVERY DAY AFTER THEY ARE GROWN. MINE STARTED LAYING AROUND 6-7 WKS. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND THE MALES MAKE NICE CALLING SOUNDS. THEY ARE JUST A PLEASURE TO RAISE. THEY MATURE SO FAST AND ARE READY FOR EATING OR BREEDING, MY PROBLEM, I LIKE THEM SO MUCH, I DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW I'M GOING TO SLAUGHTER ANY. IF YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO S.W. GA., I HAVE EXTRA EGGS AND WOULD BE GLAD TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU WITHOUT CHARGE.
