im debating if i should have one or not. i got my chickens from tsc and knowing my luck i ended up with 4 out of the 6 being roosters. i got rid of 3 but im stuck with the 4th, which is now a 5 week old white leghorn and he is already standing up to my other 6 chickens i got from tsc which are all pullets and isa browns. My rooster puffs up its neck feathers and scares me when he hurts a hen that is only 3 weeks and 5 days. The hen runs and thats the end of it. What should i expect and what are the pros of having a rooster and well... i know the cons. I need some advice....

My advice is to only keep a cock bird if you intend to breed. They can be a PITA if not managed correctly. Maybe once you get some experience under your belt it may be something worth considering.

Have you tried putting up a picture and ad up at a feed store, they often allow that. Or if not they might take him off your hands.
