Should I keep this rooster if his sibling has a crooked beak? Could this be a gene?

I have 2 lavender ameraucanas. They came from the same hatch from a breeder. One ended up having a crooked beak. She is thriving but I will not be able to keep her. Her brother however doesn't have a crooked beak. If there from the same hatch could he possibly a caring that gene?

None of the breeders flocks had problems. Would it make more sense to keep him or no?

I would probably keep him, but would hatch a limited number of chicks by him until I saw how they were.
