I bought both...gro-gel plus B and a "vitamins/electrolyte plus" powder that came with the chick starter kit to mix in the water. Both from Meyer Hatchery.
My chicks will arrive Tuesday in the mail. Should I do both???
Thanks for your help!! I am nervous as this is the first time for me to raise baby chicks.
I am getting 16 hens (variety-Ameracauna(1), Barred Rock(2), Lt. Brw Leghorn(2), Cochins(2), Buff Brahma bantums (2), Buckeyes (2), Cuckoo Marans (2), Wyandottes (3).
We are located on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.
Keeping them inside in my pre-school for several weeks. Then we will move them to the brand new coop (see pics) in some of my posts about roosts and nestboxes.) They'll have about 5 sq ft/hen and a 500 sq ft outdoor run!!
Thanks for your help!!
