Should I wash her feet?

Out of more than 20 chickens, one Silkie repeatedly gets poop caked feet. Can't explain it as she lives in same conditions as the others. I just keep on eye on her, and soak and clean her feet when it builds up. Lucky for her, she is actually my favourite chicken.

I personally start bathing young and occasionally bathe my adult birds. It won't hurt them as long as they can be thoroughly dried and not allowed to get chilled.

It also gets them used to bathing so it is not a stressful experience later on when they're adults and they're in getting treatment while sick or injured.

Epsom salt and a no-tears shampoo (baby or cat/dog shampoos) are your friend, lots of towels and a hairdryer with a low setting.

Most of my birds really enjoy bathing as it's like a spa day for them. It is my silkie's favorite - she purrs in the bath.
