Should I worry about this?

    She is just getting her big girl feathers but has these 2 bald spots on the tops of her wings. I am not worried she is sick, more concerned I may have a big one picking at her. Or is this normal while they get feathers?

    That is normal :) usually just for slow-feathering boys but it's normal.

    It could be a girl, I've just only seen the bald spots on boys. Post a pic of her face.

    Here is her face and feet. She is 8 weeks old-ish. I really think she is a hen. At least I am hoping she is. [​IMG]

    That is a Red Sex Link pullet who is feathering out perfectly normal.

    Feather growth rate is useless in sexing unless chicks are from a specific fast feathering male X slow feathering female cross.
