Pocahontas- the black and white Ancona in the left background- was chasing my buff today, and I suddenly noticed how big his/her comb and wattle are. We always assumed it was a girl. It is probably 5 months old. No crowing, but it was either trying to mate or just being mean. Any insights? I will post better pic tomorrow. Thanks

Here are better pics. Looking at these he definitely looks like a roo. He was a little younger than the rest of our chickens and that comb and wattle just snuck in without us noticing.

I am guessing girl too, altho I know nothing about Anconas. I don't see any saddle feathers either.
