Need some cheering up.
We lost our 8 year old female Boxer/Basenji mix. She chose to pass away by my side at either 6:58 or 6:59am(PST).
At least she's no longer in pain.

She was a very sweet dog

I 'm so sorry for your loss. It's especially hard when they are relatively young. Wish I had some cute pics, but I don't ever seem to have the camera handy when I want it.

I'm so sorry for your loss, it's difficult loosing a well loved pet

I hope a few of my babies help cheer you up a little! (Except the Sitatunga Antelope...they are from a zoo visit, they're not my babies).

These are my go-to pictures to cheer me up when I’m sad.

My son at 4.

My nephew. I see this and ALWAYS laugh. It’s like he’s saying, “you want some of this?”

My fur baby Kira when she was a pup.

Drifter, another another fur baby. He does not like his sweatsuit.

Bunny, my beloved fur baby as a kitten. (I helped her mother birth her, and she has apparently imprinted on me because I was the first thing she saw).

My Bunny now, at 6 years old.

I’m so sorry for your loss. For many, our fur (and/or feather) babies are extensions of our families, so the loss of one hits us hard and is so much more than the loss of “just an animal.” May you find solace in knowing she is pain-free (I’m sorry, I don’t know the details), and that she was surrounded with your love
