I feel like ours are growing so slowly, but I only can compare them to our guinea hens, which must grow faster and bigger. I will post a pic of ours shortly.
    Thanks
    jess

Could we be wrong about their ages??

looking at these pics makes me think they have to be off in age, but can't be by too much, according to how long we have had them. hmmm.

Here are some pictures of my White Rocks taken at 3wks 2 days, 4 wks and 5 wks. I purchased them at a Rural King store and assume they were day old chicks when I bought them, they may be a day or two older.

I was thinking i saw two roos in that last picture. I qualify that statement by saying I am, by no means, an expert.

Based on the information provided at the feed store these ladies should be in this age group.

Actually I bought 1 rooster and 24 pullets...you had to purchase 25 chicks...I ended up with 3 roosters. [IMG]

Then a couple racoons came to visit.[IMG] I only have one rooster now and 6 pullets. They are on our farm in a very rural area, I did not realize the danger..my first time with chicks, some neighbors about a mile of the road ran theirs free range so I thought they would be okay.

    Security is tight now:cool:donna
