this is just for fun you don't have to do it I would just like to see them
This is from last year. On the left is a 2' x 2' x 4' rabbit cage that we built. Once the chicks got too big for it, I just added two, 2' x 2' rabbit cages to give them a seperate food/water area.
This is the one DH built this week, I think it's 4' x 4' and holds our 17 babies with plenty of room to spare.
Mine is 3x6 ft.
thanks so cool keep the pics comin
Here's mine-also 4x4 with a plexi viewing window for our daughter.
Mine doesn't look like much compared to the rest, but it worked for us. It is about 6 feet around. We did have to add some netting once the girls learned to fly a little.
Of course this was just for the first 12, I am not sure how but I am up to 21 chicks now!
Here is the piano brooder my husband made out of an old piano. They can stay downstairs or go upstairs.....and it has a small roost. We never throw anything away. We can roll in out in the day time and in at night if we need to. Our babies love it............ We love our musical chickens!
Thannks once again guys your all a great help
