Quiet morning on the 1/4 Acre farm. The chooks slept in after a long day loose in the yard. They managed to civerer my patio in dirt from a flowerbed previously seeded with bird seed. They love the sprouts.

The easiest way to get bird seed to sprout is to stratify the seeds. A quick blow of the weed torch followed by watering and voila! Sprouts galore.
