show me your RIR's!

    If you get them from a quality breeder you'll get a large, deep red, almost mahogany colored bird with yellow legs. If you buy from a hatchery, you might very well get a rusty-orange bird of slightly smaller size. Do you have an interest in either type?

    This is my RIR Ruby. They need to be so dark that they are nearly black. No white in them what-so-ever [​IMG] feed stores/hatcheries do not have real RIR. They are more of a production type chicken. That's what I've been told.

    Where are you getting yours? A breeder or a hatchery?
