Don't be daft distinguishing or not the characteristic is present and evident. Check your game cock history pre united states.

I am way behind most of you owing to combination of my latitude and reliance upon hen-hatching and rearing. I had eleven game hens broody until this morning. One nesting on ground came up with zero hatch while another left nest with 9 running and one dead in nest. Another six hens will be coming off nest in next week. A couple hens will be having to reboot nesting because first effort busted by one of my kids trying to help me with working pens.

i haven't had much luck with hens this year. Just had to take 10 eggs away from a hen today and put in the incubator for the last few days. I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

I must be the only one that does not count all my chicks. I'm prolly between 50 and 60. Not counting the ones that already went home

Hey y'all! This is Jolene my new lady. She's my first game fowl. Just out of curiosity what are their laying habits? I've looked online and I can't find much information. Thanks in advance :)

Beautiful hen kdolly! On a daily basis, the most that I could get out of my game hens was an egg every other day from around April through September in the Carolinas. I've never tried lights on them though.
Is there a rooster that she'll be with?
