yes and no, each breeder attempted to create a improvement on a set line of greys. I read that Bennett greys are a claret cross and that law greys were developed in Canada. The marsh speeder is another grey line a cross of law and lieper.

The Rooster is distantly related to the hen. He is Hatch/Birchen cross with yellow legs
yeah.. I had greys for years, and that hen is the last of the bloodline from my original stock. That rooster is somewhat related (even tho I don't like the yellow legs) I decided to breed them to hopefully get some good dark leg greys back into my flock.
