Exceeds my limits as well. Groups have to be spread out in time. Keeping records on so many would make sleeping difficult.

Most I suspect are inspected. Especially when birds / eggs sold across state lines. Almost ll that I know are registered with the state poultry association. Those that are not which I know are not someone I would want birds from anyway.

My guess again is they started small and as they achieved more and more success their business grew along with it. It wouldn't be too hard to lose sight of the end game and make mistakes that would destroy your reputation overnight. For example. $$$ getting in the way and affecting your decisions.

Many people have good birds that aren't inspected or registered with the man.

You are not someone I know. People I know have interacted with me face to face and usually with birds on display. Keep it in context of people I know.

I would think you might not have much choice if you were so good and really big to the point of being commercial.

Some people are pretty particular about new birds brought into their yards. They like assurances birds are clean regardless of quality. Quality and disease-free do not always go hand in hand. Some sellers also use inspections as a selling point.

Anyone visit the ultimatefowl site lately? It appears about dead. Main parties there seem to have dropped off map here as well.
