So, I have two Araucanas. The cutest things and the sweetest chickens I have ever had. Every time I go into the coop and sit on my chair. They come flying to me. Sometimes I get hit in the face by their wings. They are the only set of chickens to do that. Before, I had 3 Rhode Island Reds and a couple years before that 2 Buff Orpingtons. Must be the breed right. Tell me what you think. Also, post pics of them.

What EEs, my friend said they were araurcanas. That must explain why they lay blue eggs. Thank you, hey people actually post pics of your EEs and what you think of them.

Easter Eggers are commonly called Araucanas, but that is incorrect. Araucanas are tufted and rumpless (lacking tails). Easter Eggers are a common mixed type with similar ancestry.

Oh, so I wasn't wrong. They are basically both. I also remember going to IFA. It too said they are araucanas. So, I can call them both.[IMG]
