I have a Black Pekin, Cilla who is the matriarch and just over two and half years old.

A Bantam Langshan, Dusty who is also just over two and half years old.

A Frizzle Pekin, LuLu who is coming up for two years old.

A Buff Pekin, Blondie who is one and half years old.

And, two by Silkie mixes, one smooth [Crystal], one frizzle [KiKi] who are only 7 months old.

I love them to bits! They are so funny .. especially the Frizzles who are the Clowns of the flock

Oh, cool, do you know what the difference between a Cochin bantam and a Pekin? @Teila

You know, I actually do not know for sure and depending on who I am talking to, they are ‘Bantam Cochins’, ‘Pekin Cochins’ or ‘Pekins’.

I think the Bantam Cochins are just that, small Cochins whereas Pekin’s are a separate breed of which there is no large version; but do not quote me on that
