Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

Oh wow! Wonder how long I'll have to wait, mine are barely a month old now. But I hope you get some pretty babies to show soon!

I've had them start at a wide range of ages. 5-10 months!

What do old English game eggs look like?

Mine are usually tall and oblong, rarely fat or round. Glossy finish, white to very faint creamy to pinkish tint.
(silver duckwings)

I get a lot that you can't tell which end is which. I have to candle to see which end the air cell is in. Pullet eggs can be dainty, just slightly larger than a quails egg. They get larger as your hens mature.

Mine are just small tinted eggs. They looks the same as my Sebright and Japanese bantams'.

Thanks. My friend got a super tiny egg. Trying to figure out which chicken it came from. She has one old English game that hasn't started laying yet. She thought maybe it was her egg. This one was tan and spotted though. Very round. Not sure who layed it..

I've got seven little spangled OEGB chicks running around :) Here's one of them:

WV, you must be sick of seeing it by now since I posted it to two other threads you're on :gig

Updating with my crew at almost 4 weeks old. Any more stabs at color/gender? DH gave me a dozen pink roses for luck on all 12 chicks, if only I were that fortunate to have picked 12 pullets. :)

I like the following names for this order atm: Gumbo, Honey, Cannoli, Waffle, Dumpling, Bourbon, & Hazel

2nd, 3rd and last, from the pics look like pullets to me. 1,4,6 look like roos.

#2 and the last look like pullets
#3 Color on eyes and lack of comb says pullet to me, coloration on body says roo. Undecided.

The rest I'm guessing cockerels.
