Thanks everyone! The bread ended up tasting fantastic - hubby and I ended up just eating bread and butter for dinner instead of the planned grilled cheese + tomato soup, haha. I just used Julia Child's bread recipe.

@penny1960 that dirty rice looks fantastic! Do you happen to have a recipe you use or do you just throw stuff in a pot until it tastes good?

Dirty rice my mind

1 1/2 c of rice cooked
3 c water
Cook till tender
add cubed meat any kind
1/8 c basil
1/8 c onion
1/8 c cloves
1/8 c pepper
1/8 c garlic
2 diced, seeded and veined pepper
2 c meat broth
May add or subtract on here out the sirlion in there added Peas as veggie also Tomatilla, tomato, jalapeno and onion sauce
