Showgirl male X Silkie hen/Showgirl hen X Silkie male does it matter??

Hello I was wondering does it make a noticable difference with which way they are paired up? or will the results from breeding either pair up result in nicer looking chicks? does that make sense? The showgirls are greyish partridge and the silkies are white! so I guess my question is ,which mating will result in better looking chicks?

1.Showgirl Male[greyish partridge] X Silkie hen [white] or 2. Silkie Male [white] X Showgirl Hen[greyish partridge] or does it matter which one is which? thanks for your time

I ask the above question because I think I am ready to try to incubate some eggs a little later on as of right now these are chicks so I would be able to control who mates with who! Thank for all the info!!
