Showing American Blue geese?

My kiddo is wanting to show geese. We have decided on American Blue geese. We are getting them from Holderreads. Can anyone tell me what conformation to look for or tell me where to get a used APA book? Thanks.

American Blues are not recognized by the APA, so they have no standard in the APA Standard of Perfection and no ideal conformation. If you show American Blues at an APA sanctioned show, they can not go any further than Best of Breed (and you're likely to have the only ones, so no competition). Your son/daughter may be able to show some American Blues at a 4-H Show.

There is conformation for the buff. The buff and the blue are the same breed so should be same build. Just different on the color. Other that color what should you be looking for?
