Showing no interest.......

My rooster doesn't show interest in any of the hens and pullets I have(15). He'll dance around a little, but that's about it. Do they go through a phase as well? Has the cooler weather affected his mating habits?

If your hens aren't laying his interest is likely to slack off too. If he's a good roo, he'll still protect them and provide for them but mating will wait until there are eggs to fertilize. I never saw my roo mate a hen even once during the time they were molting and not laying.
