[IMG] and I'm sorry about your sick baby chick. [IMG] But I don't know any other help I can give but to keep her separated in a warm, dry place with food and water away from the other chicks, as you have already done, and maybe give her some sugar water? Also it would help if you gave more information about her symptoms, what she eats, the type of bedding you use, etc. That may help us help you. [IMG]

I hope someone else can chime in and help you out some more! Good luck and I hope your bay chick gets better soon! [IMG]

Mmmm...I don't know, but btw I wouldn't use straw as their bedding. Shavings are better. Straw is hollow so mites, lice, etc. can burrow into it easily.

Good luck! I wonder where all the helpful BYCers are....?? I know at least some should have some advice for you. [IMG] [IMG]

Just remember not to let it suffer too long. If it's not getting better put it down.

Also remember- a sick chicken gets you..........

    more sick chickens.
