Please help!
My 6 week old chick started acting wierd last light. She is acting lethargic, and other chicks are stepping on her. This morning she will not stand up - I have isolated her. All the chicks have been fine, up until Friday one passed for no apparent reason. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

What is the temperature in your brooder? It looks like you are using a red heat lamp, so it might be too hot. At 6 weeks she should not need heat unless she is sick.

At her age she could be suffering from possible coccidiosis. That can cause runny poops, no appetite, weakness, lethargy, and hunched or puffed up behavior. Corid (amprollium) is the treatment used in the water. Dosage is 1.5 tsp of the powder or 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Get the chick drinking or give it by a dropper.

The brooder temp is 75...
I have had the heat lamp off during the last two days, and turned it back on at night, as I am in MN and temps got to 30ish
