I just bought 5 baby chicks from tractor supply last Tuesday. One of the babies is sick. Lethargic and not eating. Looks about a week old. Just laying in the cage sideways. Please help me save this baby. What can I do fast.

I'm sorry about your chick.
If you have photos of her, the poop and your brooder, that may be helpful.

How long has she been like this? Any other symptoms - trouble breathing or panting, etc.
Is her vent clear of pasting?

With tiny chicks so many things can go wrong, it's hard to know. Try to get her hydrated - drop little drops of water beside her beak for her to take in, careful she doesn't aspirate. If you have Poultry Nutri-Drench, give her 1-2drops.

Let us know how she's doing.

I took her out of the brooder and cleaned her off some. Have her under my shirt to keep her warm. I am waiting to get a ride to tractor supply to get her some vi tal and q tips to feed that to her. She has seemed to perk up a bit after I took her out away from the other chicks. She is not panting or having trouble breathing as I can see. No pasty butt. That all looks good. Symptoms started yesterday. I must keep her alive and will do anything I can to do so. This is my first time doing this so please help me pray for better results. Thank you
