HI,

One of the chicks I I just recieved in the mail has developed a red swelling on the side of his neck - see attached

. He is otherwise alert and eating like the others. Do you have an idea what is wrong with him? He was vaccinated for Mareks. Could this be the injection site?

It looks more like his down was just ripped out to me. I'm not a disease expert though, by any means. Maybe @Eggcessive could help you better with this.
