I am raising 4 chicks - each about a week old and purchased from a feed store.
One of my chicks has been sick for 3 days. Labored breathing, head bobs up and down involuntarily, beak opens and shuts. She can stand up but does not move much compared to her siblings. I've been hydrating her with a dropper of water 4 x a day. I'lve also fed her oatmeal and scrambled egg. She will take a little water and then struggles and cheeps and then I put her back in the cage. I tried isolating her and she did not do well on her own. Any suggestions. Is is possible for a chick to get Marek's Disease?
Appreciate any help you can offer.
