Sick Chicken - pale comb, white watery poop, kind of wobbly

So I have a hen and I’m not sure what’s going on with her. I’ve tried doing all sorts of research but I just feel like I’m going in circles. I’ve brought her into the basement in a dog kennel by herself. She’s had a floppy pale comb for the past few days, she has a messy bottom, she is kind of wobbly, but still walking around pretty okay, she still is interested in her food and water but maybe not quite as interested in it as before. I fed her some scrambled eggs and yogurt tonight. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I can do for her?

I am not a vet, but commonly these white watery poops are a sign of salmonella. So keep her dry. Also in my opinion (which could be wrong) if salmonella, it is a secondary problem. I.e. there is probably stress, cold, hot, etc that has caused salmonella to emerge.
Also, if salmonella please clean well.
Now, I had a neighbor whose hen once had similar white watery poops and it turned out she is just old and has some egg laying disorder and these white poops were parts of the eggs.. she was laying shellless eggs, etc.etc.
Are you able to do a fecal test? I am not sure if these are cheap in the USA.

It could be bacillary white diarrhea. I’d get the feces tested to see what exactly it is tho. White watery poop is usually an overload of Salmonella.

Can any vet check her poop? Or do i need to find an avian specific vet? Also, if it’s the salmonella is that treatable?

Do you have a local vet who can do a fecal float and gram stain of some fresh droppings? White urates can be a sign of kidney problems or dehydration, but the fecal float could rule out parasites and bacteria. It can be hard to diagnose poops without some lab work. I would get her drinking some fresh water, and if you have some Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell, you can give a few drops twice a day up to 2 ml daily. Offer some chicken feed and water made into a mash with bits of egg and a tsp of plain yogurt for probiotics.

Can any vet test that way? Or do I need to find a vet that treats chickens? I actually plan on trying to find a chicken vet to take her to anyways. But if I can’t will any vet do the fecal? I feel so bad for her.

I went to the feed store and looked for that stuff but the only thing they had was hydra hen, so I got that and I’ll give her some. I’ll make her some mash this evening.

I took her outside this afternoon to get some sun and she was scratching around and eating bugs. She gets around okay, just seems a little unsteady. I just wanna help this little girl get better.

Okay so does anyone have suggestions on how to get a good fecal sample? If she’s pooping like this, how can I get the best sample to take to the vet? In her cage she’s had some more solid stuff mixed in with the white water poops. Should I take both kinds in? I’m just trying to figure out the best way to get a good sample since it’s mainly liquid.

How is she doing? In regards of the fecal test - the vet that I have used so far had no preference as long as it is fresh...
