We just bought 24 chicks 4 days ago. Last night I lost two. Today I found that several of the chicks had pasty butt, so I cleaned their brooder again, second time today and cleaned all the pasty butts up with warm water. Once I put them all back in the brooder I noticed one bird laying on its side and another leaning back on another chick. I picked them both up and noticed both of their crops are very hard and both birds fell backwards when I set them down. They just look sick. I've separated them from the other babe's because I don't want them all to get sick, but I don't know what to do with these 2 sickies. Help, thoughts, suggestions....
