For about a week now my 2 ducklings have both had runny noses but other than that have been acting perfectly fine. They will sneeze every now and then and they have been getting and electolight and niacin mix in their water everyday since it started.

Im starting to think maybe there is more going on and they are actually sick. I did some research and came up with tetractline and chlortetracycline as something that might help them but i am not sure if i should give them that and if so where can i get it and how do i give it to them?

No clue about the runny nose, I do know that too much Niacin (specifically a Niacin supplement) can be really hard on a ducks liver and kidneys. Try brewers yeast in their water instead.

Good luck with the runny noses. I would make sure they are either getting a bath or they are able to get their beaks in the water to flush out their sinuses everyday, maybe twice a day. My ducks like to stand in front of a hairdryer on low heat after bath time.

They get a bath everyday for about 10 mins and dive all around so i know they get everything cleaned out but maybe it is the supplement. I will switch and see if they improve. My ducks are also afraid of the hair dryer lol. They enjoy a heating pad on low after their baths

With the brewers yeast do i mix it the same way? 1 teaspoon to 1 gallon of water?
