sick golden sex link hen, huge mass in lower abdomen, growing daily,

I have a golden sex link hen, about 16 months old, was laying fine untill about a week ago, maybe longer... She is still eating & drinking fine, poop is normal, but her abdomen is huge & hard as a rock. I did a rectal & can feel a huge mass that seems to take up any free space in her lower belly.... Could this be egg bound? Ive never seen it in all my years w/chickens... Im horribly worried about this little hen, but I have no idea what do for her. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I did move about 3+ weeks ago, from southern Oregon to the willamette valley, so theyve had a small climate change, but everybody else is doing great. Im just stumped. please help? I am no expert but that sounds like she is laying internally.

If she is laying internally, what can be done? Or what would cause it to suddenly start?

since I haven't had that problem yet I can't tell you why or how it happens. I am not even sure what can be done. Someone on this forum should and will have an answer. Sorry your going through this with your girl

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. I just hate to see this poor hen trying so hard to be a chicken, & her tummy is so big she can barely walk. Its the dangest thing Ive ever seen.....
