sick hen and new owner

I am a new chicken owner for about 3 months now. Researched before buying a small flock. Add 2 14 month old barred rocks about 3 weeks ago. Laying and eating fine. Temps went to the teens with a cold front, put them in hen house with heat lamp. Only 1 chicken out of 8 are sick. I seperated her. I have had her on duramycin-10 for a week now and I am not seeing any improvements. I can not afford a vet visit. She is gurgling and was blowing bubbles wes out of her nose. Was eating and drinking well up to today.. Did not even want her meal worms today. She is fluffed up and very quiet. Any ideas? I don't do needles lol

Sounds like a respiratory infection. Baytril healed my hen in only a few days but it is only a vet prescribed medicine. Hope she gets better!

Well seems she had an impacted croup. Let's hope I see some good improvements now
