In the Brooder
One of our hens is acting strange.
see attached picture…
she’s been sitting all day just occasionally getting up, walking a few feet and sitting back down.
I did notice her eating just a little bit.
she has very, very watery droppings.
I found an egg today that she presumably layed on the ground where she was sitting. When I touched it it broke right away. The shell wasn’t strong at all.
also, she was almost unable to get into the coop tonight since there is a small step to get in. She didn’t get up on the roosting bar with the others, instead she stayed down on the ground by herself.
overall, her energy is very low right now.
something isn’t right.
any thoughts?
