My wonderful cat unplugged the heating light on my brooder box during the night and now my 3 week old Jungle Fowl chick is walking with its wings hanging down and is breathing heavy....is this a sign of pnemonia? Chick wont fold his wings against his body he just hangs them. If this is a respitory infection what antibiotics can be used..I have bactrim is that safe???

Just keep the little guy warm and make sure there is food and water. At 3 weeks, they should be pretty tough. Don't know how fast they can get a respiratory infection, and don't know much about antibiotcs that can be used for such. Best of luck. 60F isn't that bad for a 3 week old chick as long as it was only a short time, although it could have chilled them easily.
